Society; American Heart Association; American Diabetes Association; and Public Health Services of Jefferson
County.
A number of other exhibits and demonstrations of interest to women will include fashion, home decorating,
financial and legal services, gardening, interior design, spa services, home management and entertaining tips.
Each participant attending will receive a Women’s Health Booklet published by Hope Health featuring
information on health, safety and disease prevention.
“This event is designed to give women, our society’s caregivers, a day to relax, relearn, refresh, reconnect,
and replenish their total being. It is important that women take the necessary time to nourish their own health
and well-being. To be an effective caregiver to others, women must sent aside time for themselves”,
commented Diane Recupero, one of the event’s organizers. She encourages women to take this day to be
with the women in their lives they enjoy and attend this exciting informative event.
Exhibits, displays, boots, seminars and demonstrations will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm. Entertainments
and motivational speakers will be present during the luncheon, which will be served at noon. A silent auction
and door prizes will provide added enjoyment throughout the day.
The cost for the all-inclusive event is $20. All proceeds from this event will benefit River Hospital. For more
information and tickets please phone Debbie Davis, ticket chairperson, at 482-6340, Diane Recupero at 482-
